The principle purpose of New Dawn is to enable parents to look after their children and so our focus is always on the needs of the child and on whether they are being consistently met.

Each parent will be encouraged to be involved in formulating their Placement Plan, as by doing so, they will be signing up to and become more committed in achieving their full potential in caring for both themselves and their baby in the long term.

The service will be individually planned with each family to meet parents needs in order for them to achieve their full potential in caring for their baby.

By supporting and enabling the parents, they will be able to plan and develop better futures for themselves and their babies.
